A Christian social media influencer was removed from an Alaska Airlines flight at Orlando International Airport after briefly sharing her faith with passengers during a departure delay. Whitney Lynn, a 40-year-old evangelist from Orlando, stood in the cabin and spoke for less than a minute, telling travelers that the delay could be part of God’s plan and might be protecting them from danger.
According to reports, a flight attendant later asked Lynn to leave the aircraft, telling her the crew no longer felt safe. Videos posted online show Lynn challenging the decision, describing the incident as “spiritual warfare” and claiming Christians were being persecuted for their faith. She also spoke with airport police and addressed passengers waiting at the gate after being removed. In a statement, Alaska Airlines said the crew became increasingly concerned about Lynn’s behavior and that she was removed for safety reasons.
Lynn said she was traveling to California for a follower’s funeral and later received notice of the travel ban despite being issued a flight credit. She has indicated she plans to consult an attorney and says she intends to continue sharing her Christian faith while traveling by air.
