Evangelist Franklin Graham shared the Gospel with more than 30,000 people during the two-night Festival of Hope held at Chizhovka Arena in Minsk, Belarus. According to the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, more than 15,000 people attended each evening, with additional crowds gathering outside the arena to hear the messages.
During the outreach, Graham emphasized salvation through Jesus Christ, telling attendees, “Tonight you can experience a new birth, a spiritual rebirth through Jesus Christ.” He also declared, “Jesus didn’t come to condemn you; He came to save you. Jesus said, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.’ There’s no other way to God.”
Nearly 700 Evangelical churches partnered for the event, and organizers distributed more than 2,000 Bibles. Graham described the gathering as unprecedented in Belarus, with worship led by a 1,300-member choir and symphony orchestra. He also shared a testimony of a man who found hope in Christ after previously considering suicide.
