Thousands are expected to gather on the National Mall on May 17 for Rededicate 250: A National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise & Thanksgiving, an all-day event calling the United States back to God ahead of its 250th anniversary. The gathering, part of the nationwide Freedom 250 celebration, will feature Scripture, prayer, testimony, and a national rededication, with free admission and livestream access available.
Pastor Robert Jeffress, who will speak, compared the event to Explo ‘72 and said it could be as large or larger. He emphasized personal renewal, stating, “If America is going to experience revival, then I first have to have a revival in my heart. For America to rededicate herself to Christ means I must rededicate myself to Christ.”
The program will center on three themes: God’s providence in America’s history, testimonies of present-day faith, and a unified expression of gratitude and rededication. Prominent political leaders, pastors, and Christian figures are scheduled to participate, along with military bands and worship performances throughout the day.
