From Trans Identity to New Life in Christ

From Trans Identity to New Life in Christ

Gaya Mor, an Israeli woman who once identified as transgender, shared how reading the New Testament marked a turning point in her life and faith. She described being surprised by its deeply Jewish context, noting familiar elements such as rabbis and synagogues, which led her to reflect spiritually and feel a desire to seek God.

As she came to understand the identity of Jesus, Mor embraced faith as a Messianic Jew. She had been struggling with anxiety, loneliness, and self-harm, challenges that intensified following the events of October 7 and left her unable to sleep. During a sleepless night, she cried out to Jesus, an experience she says brought immediate peace and relief from anxiety.

“It’s that peace that would just surpass any situation I was in, that made me realize that He’s real,” she says.

Mor reported that this encounter led to lasting transformation, helping her find rest and stability. She now centers her life on faith in God and describes a continuing sense of peace rooted in His presence.

“I mean, of course, he’s the way, the truth, and the life because that’s who he is,” she tells CBN News.
