A nationwide tent revival movement is drawing thousands across America, with organizers reporting large numbers of salvations and baptisms as people seek renewed faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Tent Revival founder Dr. Braden Andersen, a former primary care physician, said the ministry began after a powerful 2019 event in Kokomo, Indiana, where people from many backgrounds responded to the gospel. In 2022, Andersen sold his medical practice and home to focus full time on the revival movement.
“The thought of being able to impact people with the gospel, even in that very moment, just seemed so much more important than the clinics that we had,” Andersen said. He added that America is spiritually hungry and is responding to the simplicity of the tent meetings.
Local churches partner with the ministry to disciple new believers after each event. Pastors and attendees have shared testimonies of salvation, freedom from addiction, and transformed lives. The revival has also seen hundreds of spontaneous baptisms at individual gatherings, with events now expanding beyond the United States into Canada.
