Iran Protests Intensify as More Iranians Turn to Christ

Lily Meschi, director of Iran Alive Ministries, says the current protests sweeping across Iran are deeply troubling, though not uncommon. “It is very concerning because of how many people are getting killed in the streets of Iran, across Iran, in every city, and province. It’s just very sad,” she said.

Meschi, who was born and raised in Iran, now helps lead Gospel efforts through satellite TV and digital media into the country. She urges believers to intercede in prayer for Iranians and for change within the nation’s leadership. “We’re encouraging every believer, every viewer that watches our program, to … stand firm, to speak life in the darkness, to be the light of Jesus in every moment, every day.”

She also shared how many Muslims in Iran are coming to faith through dreams and visions of Jesus. “They had real physical healings, and Jesus appears to them in their visions, in their dreams,” she said. “And making Himself known to them, so they know that it was Jesus.”
