A fire truck in the Nashville metropolitan area rolled over after an 18-wheeler careened into it Wednesday. No one was injured in what local officials have called “a miracle.”
“A middle Tennessee firefighter is bruised and sore but blessed to be alive after rolling this fire truck,” a news anchor for WKRN-TV said this week of firefighter Toni Stinson, who was driving the rig when it was hit by the semi truck.
She was driving to the scene of a nearby fire when the accident happened. Thankfully, she was able to escape the truck, despite the fact the outside of the vehicle sustained significant damage and the roof of the cab was crushed nearly to the steering wheel.
