Brandon Lake Encourages Christians to Shine Bright

Award-winning Christian artist Brandon Lake was the biggest winner at the 2026 K-LOVE Fan Awards in Nashville, earning honors as both Best Male Artist and Best All-Around Artist. During his acceptance remarks, Lake encouraged believers to remain faithful and shine the light of Christ in a culture searching for hope.

“God is doing something beautiful in our nation, even though there’s craziness that’s going on out there. The darker it gets, the brighter your light is going to shine,” Lake told the audience. He also spoke about the growing spiritual hunger he sees among artists and audiences, adding, “I’m going to be that guy that stays in the church, but I will never stop moving towards the lost.”

Lake has expanded his reach through recent collaborations with country artists Lainey Wilson on “The Jesus I Know Now” and Jelly Roll on “Hard Fought Hallelujah.” Despite a highly successful year, the South Carolina husband and father of three said he remains grounded by family and community. Looking ahead, Lake expressed his desire to continue creating music that points people to Christ and shares the hope of the gospel with those who do not yet know Him.
