Report Reveals Abortion Industry Connections at Christian Colleges

A new pro-life report alleges that more than 100 Christian colleges and universities in the United States maintain connections to Planned Parenthood or other abortion industry entities, with support rising nearly 20 percent since 2022. The 2025 Christian Schools Project, conducted by Students for Life of America’s Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement, reviewed 725 institutions “affiliated with Christ-centered denominations that publicly claim a historical Christian foundation.” Denominations that openly support abortion were excluded.

Researchers found 114 schools had some form of relationship with the abortion industry. Support for Planned Parenthood increased by 19.82 percent following the Supreme Court’s 2022 decision overturning Roe v. Wade. Infractions included promoting internships, listing Planned Parenthood as a resource, or incorporating abortion industry materials into coursework.

Methodist-affiliated schools accounted for 37 percent of infractions, while Catholic institutions represented nearly 25 percent. Forty-seven schools received failing grades. However, A-plus grades increased by nearly 14 percent, and up to 50 ties were severed between 2024 and 2025 “thanks to interventions and awareness facilitated by the Christian Schools Project.”
