U.S. Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced late Thursday that a transgender substitute teacher at Mildred B. Poole Elementary School has been dismissed following complaints from military families. Responding to a CBN News report, Hegseth wrote on X, “The ‘Wolf’ was fired 2 weeks ago.”
Liberty Counsel had previously sent a February 9, 2026 demand letter to the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA), citing reports from parents who alleged “sexually inappropriate” and “disturbing behavior.” According to the letter, the male teacher, who identifies as a wolf, reportedly dressed in feminine clothing, wore a dog collar with fetish tags, and told students he turns into a wolf at night. One child told her mother, “Mommy, I’m scared he’s going to come eat me,” while another said, “Mommy, Ms. Roxxie says he was born in a male’s body, but he’s actually a woman, but he likes boys!”
Liberty Counsel asserted, “This male’s behavior and DoDEA’s failure to intervene constitutes sexual harassment in violation of Title IX,” and urged a formal investigation.
