The 2026 National March for Life took place yesterday in Washington, D.C., under the theme “Life is a Gift.” Thousands from across the nation gathered to stand for the sanctity of human life and the rights of the unborn. Vice President JD Vance, who recently announced that he and his wife are expecting their fourth child, addressed the crowd once again. At last year’s march, he declared, “America is fundamentally a pro-baby, a pro-life, and a pro-family country.”
March for Life President Jennie Bradley Lichter said, “His presence at this year’s march underscores the importance of this iconic event and the centrality of the pro-life movement to a healthy conservative coalition. We are honored that he will join us in standing up for the unborn alongside our marchers from all over the country.”
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, Rep. Chris Smith, and several Christian leaders also delivered remarks. Major abortion battles continue in Virginia, Missouri, and Nevada.
