More than 14,000 people gathered in Brussels, Belgium, for the Festival of Hope, where Evangelist Franklin Graham preached the uncompromising truth of the Gospel. “I want you to know that God loves you and that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, from heaven to this earth to take your sins. This is why Jesus Christ came. He did not come to condemn us, He came to save us. Jesus Christ came for all, but you have got to come to Him in faith,” Graham declared.
Thousands responded to the call to repent and believe in Jesus Christ. One young woman, Maria, who had long struggled to believe God could forgive her sins, testified, “I want people to see that God is in me.”
The ING Arena was filled to capacity, with 5,000 more in overflow areas. The event brought together 620 evangelical churches, united in a powerful move of God. “This is a milestone … but it is not about religion. It is about Jesus Christ,” said one church leader.
