New Elevation College to Train Future Pastors

New Elevation College to Train Future Pastors

Elevation Church, a North Carolina-based congregation with over 10,000 members, has announced the launch of Elevation College, scheduled to open in the fall of 2026. The new initiative is in partnership with Southeastern University, a Christian institution affiliated with the Assemblies of God and located in Lakeland, Florida.

In a social media post, Elevation Church stated, “This is for traditional college-aged students who feel called to ministry and want to earn an accredited degree from Southeastern University while gaining hands-on experience at Elevation Church.”

Southeastern University already works with Elevation through the Ministry Leaders Series, which provides “in-depth training in interpreting Scripture and biblical context.” The university affirms it welcomes “students from all Christian backgrounds and denominations,” including “many Baptists, Presbyterians, Methodists, etc., as well as nondenominational students.”
