Pastor Dylan Novak is on a mission field many overlook, Hollywood. For over a decade, Novak, founder of Celebrity Evangelist, has taken the Gospel directly to more than 2,000 celebrities, sharing Christ with actors, musicians, and influencers who rarely hear biblical truth.
One notable encounter occurred in 2023 when Novak shared the Gospel with rock icon Ozzy Osbourne and his family. Having learned Osbourne once expressed a desire to better understand Scripture, Novak gifted him a personalized New Living Translation Bible and handwritten letters for each family member. Osbourne’s reaction was remarkable, he immediately began reading the Gospels and kept the Bible by his bedside, even insisting on having it before going to sleep.
Novak says it’s not about guaranteed results, but obedience to Christ’s call to “go into all the world.” He emphasizes that celebrities, though influential, are often spiritually unreached. Rejection is part of the work, but so is hope—and God is using it.
