Jelly Roll Shares Gospel Message From Grammy Stage

Jelly Roll used the Grammy Awards stage to publicly share his Christian faith after winning three awards at the ceremony held Sunday at Crypto.com Arena. The artist won Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken, Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song with Brandon Lake for “Hard Fought Hallelujah,” and Best Country Duo/Group Performance with Shaboozey for “Amen.”

While accepting the award for Best Contemporary Country Album, Jelly Roll credited Jesus and his wife for transforming his life. Addressing the audience, he said, “First of all, Jesus, I hear you and I’m listening, Lord. I am listening, Lord,” and later added, “Jesus is Jesus, and anybody can have a relationship with Him.”

Holding a small Bible, he described his past struggles and pointed to faith and music as central to his redemption. The broadcast reached an estimated 12,000 attendees and millions of viewers worldwide.

Brandon Lake celebrated the Grammy win on social media, thanking Jesus and his collaborators. Evangelist Franklin Graham also praised Jelly Roll’s testimony, calling it a clear example of the power of God to transform a life.
