In a powerful display of faith, thousands of college students have turned their hearts to Jesus as the fall semester begins, pointing to a growing spiritual awakening across America’s campuses. This week, nearly 9,000 students gathered at the University of Oklahoma’s Lloyd Noble Center for a night of worship, repentance, and surrender to Christ. The event, hosted by the national UniteUS movement, witnessed numerous baptisms and public commitments to follow Jesus, echoing revival moments seen at Auburn University in recent years.
Meanwhile, at Ohio State University, members of the Buckeye football team hosted their second “Invitation to Jesus” event, drawing over 1,000 students. Players boldly shared their testimonies, leading to on-the-spot baptisms and widespread Gospel response. Lineman Julian Goines-Jackson declared, “It’s about using the platform the Lord has given us to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
With more UniteUS events scheduled this fall, students across the nation are being challenged to say “yes” to God.
