Kirk Cameron Leads Faith-Filled Story Hour at Library of Congress

In a powerful moment for faith and family values, Christian actor and author Kirk Cameron hosted a children’s story hour at the Library of Congress on August 16, drawing hundreds of attendees. Supported by the U.S. Department of Education and the Trump administration, the event marked a major victory for Cameron and his See You At The Library movement, which encourages parents to teach biblical truth in the public square.

“This event signals a fresh wind of liberty and faith in America,” Cameron told The Christian Post. After facing rejection from over 50 libraries for his Christian children’s book As You Grow, which teaches the Fruit of the Spirit, Cameron now sees hearts opening nationwide.

The event featured prayer, faith-based storytelling, and special guests like Missy Robertson and Michael Knowles. Children heard gospel-centered messages of humility, family, and God’s unconditional love. Cameron emphasized that restoring America begins at home: “Faith, moral integrity, and courage must return.”

He added, “God’s not done with America—and our hope is in Him.”
